14 May 2006 - Friends of Pen Y Maes Woods

This was the day when we realised that we can now do promtions anywhere through out the area. The new tent had been delivered several weeks ago, but this was the first time we were able to erectt it and use. It was one of the best days we have ever hade because we felt secure and protected from what ever the weather could throw at us. We ghhad considere getting a Gazebo but that was quickly ruled out because it would not adapt to our needs and would not be big enough.

Our very first Visitor was Sandy Mewies AM.

The picture above shows Shelia modelling our new HDNW hi-vis jackets. These are an important peice of clothing as the will keep us all warm and dry and meet the modern requiremenbts to do with Health and safety etc.
