What is Driver Watch.

Driver Watch is a Crime Preventative Initiative set up by PC Gary Hall of the West Midlands Police.

The scheme works by the same standards as Neighbourhood Watch except that this scheme is on wheels and it is mobile.

Gary has gathered together different groups of Professional Drivers and recruited them to become the Eyes and Ears of the Police and the Neighbourhood whilst they are out and about driving within our local area's.

The Professional drivers carry a Stationery pack which includes- Clip boards- Incident forms- pens- prepaid envolopes- a membership card- vehicle identity sticker and much more.

If the drivers need to report an emergency then they would telephone 999 as normal.

If the drivers see anything that is non emergency then they can call the police station or post in an incident form with a pre-paid envolope provided.
